The ancient History and science in it- from the lens of my recent travel experience

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. – Genesis 1:27

So I am occupied with the concept of our Ancient History and our origin recently. Not for the first time though, but for surely for the first time in 2016. I often time travel my thoughts back to those days when our civilization was still in its initial phase. How step by step we transformed ourselves and gained knowledge from and about our environment. But still I always doubt our origin and our purpose! Okay, let me be clear why all these things are now echoing in my brain. Actually I visited an Ancient temple with my family last week. The temple is near to Samalkot, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, South India.  I was amazed by the serene beauty the temple offered, but was shocked when the Pandit of the temple told that this temple was built around 9000 years ago. I was like, come again?! It is a Vishnu temple as said by the Pandit. He gave us a pamphlet and this is how he described the temple’s history to us.

Once upon a time there was a deep forest named Keekaranyam. A child named Dhruva lived there. He was the son of the king of that place. The mother of Dhruv was Suneeta. Dhruv’s step mother was against the decision of Dhruv becoming the king. Once Suneeta called Dhruv and told “You are meant to become the King and rule the kingdom in a great manner. For that you have to pray and perform austerity to Lord Maha Vishnu and get his blessings. With his blessings you will become the king. So start praying to him.”

By listening to this, Dhruv moved to Muni Sandilya ashram. Muni knowing Dhruv’s mind, called Dhruv. Then muni told Dhruv that “My son, You start praying to the divine form of Lord Vishnu. Perform Austerity to him. He will appear and fulfill your wish.” Then Dhruv started praying to Lord Vishnu. After some period, impressed by the prayers of Dhruv, Lord Vishnu appeared in front of Dhruv. But by seeing the divine and shining light of Lord Vishnu, Dhruv being a child got frightened. Seeing this Lord Vishnu spoke, “Son, Why are you afraid? I am in you. I am the same size as yours. Don’t worry” and saying this he reduced the intensity of his light and appeared in the form same as Dhruv’s height. Then he pressed the cheeks of the child, blessed him and turned into a statue. So because of this incidence, this statue is also called Shrungara Vallabha Swamy. It is also referred by the name “Tholi Tirupati”, which literally means “First Tirupati”. It is said that it was the first ever statue form of Lord Vishnu. Even some celebrities have visited this place and this temple was of great importance. Some of them include RudramaDevi, Vikramaarkulu and Queen Victoria. And Queen Victoria said that when her husband saw the statue, it appeared as 6 feet to him as he was 6 feet. It is also often said that the statue appears same the height of the viewer. Later idols of goddess Lakshmi Devi and Bhudevi were installed near the idol of Lord Vishnu. I too observed the statue as my height. But for that we have to stand at a distance. When I saw it from the place from where it is said to be seen, it appeared as if the ground is slightly sloped or at an angle, which made our point of view coincide with the statue’s place appearing to us as the same height.

When the Pandit finished his description I was in that place but my imagination has reached the sky. I mean to the stars. When he mentioned the name Dhruv, the first thing that came in my mind was Dhruva taara story which translates as Dhruva star. The story which we learned as children and were fascinated about the story. The story goes like this, Dhruv wanted to be seen by everyone in the world, so God converted him into a star, the brightest star! And also this history mentions that Dhruv got frightened with the divine light of Lord Vishnu. Who knows this may be same Dhruv, just imagining.  Who knows he may have diverted from his wish and desired to be a star. Let your thoughts wander just as mine did.

But what happened next was the real wonder. When I saw the surroundings of the temple, I was like Oh My! It was mystical. Beautiful carvings, unreadable scriptures, some amazing sculptures and what not! It seemed as if I have stepped into an another world. There were many carvings which appeared to me strange. There was a well on the left side of the backyard and it is believed that couples who don’t have children can get blessed with a child if they bath with this water. Amazing! But one scene which left me wondering was an area which resembled like a Dam. Don’t get me wrong but it is my honest opinion on this. You can see the resemblance below in the pics. It means this could be the oldest dam in the world or may be not. There are dozens of pillars with some unreadable scriptures on them. I tried to use my intelligent mind here but all attempts went futile. I just took a pic of one of them and kept it for future use. Then I saw the Dhwaja Stambam of the temple which honestly appeared strange to me. This was quite different than what I saw in other temples. This had some horizontal lines at regular intervals which looked like stages of a rocket launch. I touched many of the carvings of the temple but it felt like they were made of some different material. There were many small statues which looked strange to me. And there was also a ventilator to the left extreme left corner of the temple. And coming to the statue of Lord Vishnu aided by his two wives, was so bright and in a smiling posture. Pandit opposed me when I was about to take the photo. The shanka and Chakra were on the opposite sides when compared to the regular idols of Vishnu. For one moment I imagined shanka as the sound generator when the engine starts or blows horns and Chakra as the wheel or steering handle. That adventurous visit to the temple was amazing and mystical. Some parts of the temple were modernized though for convenience.

But when I came home I wanted to know more about this temple. We visited this temple as my father’s friend told my father about it. I searched it on internet and got little information, though I found myself landing into a new different world of a show called Ancient Aliens. First I started laughing and then slowly my laugh disappeared. My eye brows got raised. I moved near to the screen. That one dialogue was enough, “Are we the Sons of Aliens? Do Aliens landed on Earth and taught us about the science they knew about? Were they more developed than us then? Were they the one, who opened the knowledge gate for us and transformed our evolution process? Do we speak their language?” These questions from videos of Ancient Aliens made me mad. There have been wide spread belief that Gods came from heaven, from the sky! Any bells? Even in Ramayana and Mahabharata there are mentioning of wars that were fought in air. Do they knew how to fly? There are many evidences that the Gods used to travels in flying chariots and Gods had vahanas, which means vehicles. Or they had the knowledge of flying vehicles using which they fought wars. Even Sanjaya from Mahabharata used to see the war proceedings by sitting in the palace itself. They had cameras and transmitters? Devanagari is known to be language from which all languages were made. And Devanagari was the language of Gods. Again I wondered of them. I don’t know to what extent their sayings are true, but they have definitely given me something to ponder upon. I am not saying they are completely true about their words. I also believe in existence of God. There are many edges which are not clear about our ancient culture and origin of humans. We are unaware of our purpose of existence. We were imparted the knowledge of sciences by Gods. Or they were, you say. Just leaving it to your own imagination. Much of the ancient science is hidden under the land of Earth! The science treasure.

I am also a religious person. But I do not follow any one religion, even though being a Hindu. All religions are one and came from the same source. The creators of World. The God. We all are his sons and daughters. No use of fighting for religions and going oblique from their very purpose of formations. Every religion teaches Peace and love. We all are here for a short period and we have to make our life worth-living. People have found money as the base and keep running for it in the opposite direction from their true purpose of their existence. We have to step in our minds and search for our purpose and our origin. Who knows the purpose is waiting for us to be discovered.

And concluding this with one more thing I observed, recently they said that the waves radiated by the Sun make a sound which resembles like “Aum”. Aum is also the most divine sound and all the audible sounds belongs to the space between the mouth beginning from the root of the tongue to the end of the lips. So Aum is the supreme divine sound. And who are we? hUMans! I think you clearly got what I am trying to say here.

So here are some pics I have taken during that temple visit, not a photographer though. The temple which made made think about our existence once again, about humanity, truth and purpose. From yesterday evening I am completely involved in this concept and can’t stop my imagination and unable to limit it. Just hoping to land back on the land of reality from land of imagination with expressing them in words. Thanks for reading.

Utilize the energy in a good way

Energy!! What is energy? Does it have a dimension or a form? What is the purpose of this energy?

Energy is a thing which keeps us going. It tells us that the flame of our purpose is still alive within us and we have to serve that purpose within time. We have to utilize this energy in serving our purpose. Energy is like a donkey. It doesn’t know what it carries. That’s why there are terms like positive energy and negative energy. Because if we utilize this new born energy in spreading good thoughts in our mind, it stimulates our body in a positive manner by giving us a positive feeling which burns our passion and sets it on fire. Which gives us happiness and peace.

But if we misuse this energy by spending it on negative thoughts then it’s like whirling wind on a burning forest. The negative thoughts will spread quickly to each part of your existence and will destroy your mindset and your hope from inside. You will just be a vessel. As we know empty vessels make more noise. So will you, as your body will become a home for anger, hatred and ego making you a slave of their dominance. So never use this energy for negative thoughts. Always think positive. Be inspired. Create a generator of inspiration within. It will generate happiness within.

Energy doesn’t have any dimensions, neither does it has a form. It just resides within us and gets utilized in the way we use it. We never know how this energy is created. But its presence is felt strongly in the morning. It is something the supreme power above us have given us to burn our passion and keep the flame alive for generations to come so that they can carry the flame forward.

So when you wake up in the morning, utilize this energy by burning it for positive thoughts, which will keep the flame for your passion alive and thus generating happiness & peace, which drives our day safely.

Your confidence and faith are responsible for sailing yourself out of storms of darkness. Energy keeps that confidence and faith alive. So utilize your energy in a good way so that you can feel the presence of supreme power above us. Stay positive. Be inspired.

** Its been a month since my last post. Sometimes I wonder how the days pass so quickly but we are still stuck in the past. Feeling as a stranger to wordpress again. Missed you all and all your presence **

They say it’s all fate

Sometimes I wonder, can we ever understand the working principle of the life? Whenever I see my face in a mirror, I can see my skin in which I live, but I cannot see myself, SOUL. I can see my nose, but I cannot see the air. I can see my mouth, but I cannot see the words. I can see my tongue, but I cannot see the taste. I can see the things in light, but I cannot see the natural light itself. And nowadays we can see humans, but not the humanity in humans (no harm intended).

Not everything in this world is just to be seen so that they can be believed and understood. The most important things in our life often occur unseen. So never believe in things only which you see, also believe in things which you feel to exist. Because they exist. They exist and have their own ways to make an impact on your life. They know when to enter your life and make you better as a person in life.

Problems don’t make you weaker. They just do the opposite.

Life is playing all its cards and testing us. At present I am 1000+ miles away from my home. This has been a sudden visit to Mumbai with my grand parents. It is occupying most of the time now. One of my relatives have passed away in Worli , so we have to come. Everyone is in utter shock because he was not at all ill.  And they say, it’s all fate. Just wish that his soul rest in peace.

Have a good time. Thanks for reading..

Dharmatic

image

Dharma, never heard of? Ok. I will explain. It is not a new word. This is a word used thousands of years ago in epic of Mahabharat. Dharma is a Sanskrit word, with a root derivative of dh, which means to hold, to keep. Dharma has no one definition. It is defined in different ways in different religions. But whatever the place, air is the same. Similarly this.
Dharma, as in Buddism, is the principle or law which orders the universe. So dharma is the basic backbone to the functioning of this universe.
In Hinduism, Dharma is the duties, the responsibilities of humans that have to be fulfilled. We have some duties to fulfill towards our mother earth, nature and our mankind. Which duties? Let’s just say,  the exact opposite of what we,!as humans, are doing right now.

Drama! Now this is what everyone is aware of. We are are good actors. We express emotions which are not in heart, but which are pre-defined in our brains. What is the use if you just act? It is against the act of God. Start loving being natural. Being genuine. Being human.

Start being Dharmatic. Not Dramatic. Your life will change Dharmatically if not Dramatically.

Because depending upon your Dharma, you will face your Karma.

Thanks for reading, fellow readers.
Be Dharmatic.

Sci,en,ce- sky and sea.

Hello readers, let’s talk about science today. What is science? Okay, let me ask first, for whom is science? Only for scientists? Only for students? No. Science is for everyone. Science is everything in between sky and the sea***. The name itself says it. Do you think there was no science before the introduction of science in our education system? Let me tell you, science was born on day 1, along with the universe. When someone says I hate science, indirectly he hates his own existence. Science subject is different than the actual science. Science is as higher as sky, and as deeper as sea. No one can completely understand it. You don’t have to be a scholar to understand science. You just have to believe in it to understand science. Just like God. The reason for the blue color of sky is science. The Earth consists upto of 71% of water. Wait wait, our body also consists 70% of water. So the reason? Science.
As in one of the biggest epic the great MAHABHARAT, one slok says, “If you can’t find it in mahabharat, you will find it nowhere”. Really I do believe so.
Our Earth resembles our body.
What you can’t find in America, you can find it in China. What you can’t find in China, you can find it in some other place. In a similar way, what you can’t find in your brain, you will find it in your heart. What you can’t find in your heart, you will find it in your eyes and so on. This is life. The cycle. Just like sun and the moon. Day and the night. Science is our existence. We exist to believe that science. Science is God. Even Lord Krishna says that the only thing which is constant in this world, is CHANGE.
Just like season, is our mood. Varying time to time. Sometimes unseasonal. But always remember, everything present in the universe, is also present in our body. Ok let’s take this mobile piece which I am typing with. Camera= Eyes. Memory= Neuron cells. Processor= Brain. Battery= Heart. Touch Screen- Senses. And so on.
Life is just what you think of it.
So start loving science, start believing in Science. Your science may or may not improve, your life will definitely will.

Thanks for reading. I can’t believe I sat down for two continuous hours typing, reading, retyping and finally editing this. I don’t know about your science, just hope that I am not wrong with my English here.

*** sci is referred as sky, en as and ce as sea. ***
