O you tractable human, O you powerful soul,
this restlessness is pushing you into a hole.

We all go through this. We often find ourselves in situations where our mind is in a state of restlessness. Countless thoughts arise in our mind in an uncontrollable manner which stupefies us of its virulent consequences. We all want is peace and joy. But when restlessness arises, we forget our nature of peace. Just like when two tectonic plates collide, it results in an earthquake, similarly when two thoughts collide, it results in restlessness.

The collision between being and becoming is the cause of this earthquake, restlessness is mere an effect. We cannot change/control the effects, we can change the cause. Just like the aftermath of tsunami is devastating, so is the case for restlessness. Peace is destroyed, rise in anger and anxiety is at peaks, and patience level falls down to zero.

The problem with our generation is comparison. We compare ourselves with everyone who is succeeding at life and then regret ourselves. You are comparing the effect here, not the cause. We all have flowers of creativity within ourselves. Some are watering their tree of knowledge and some are not. Some are giving their inner light to them and some are not. When you don’t water them and give them light, the flowers won’t bloom from this trees of knowledge. There will be emotional imbalance and will give rise to disasters like anger, anxiety and restlessness. These disasters will preclude your growth process. They will relentlessly push you into a state of torpor.

Start watering your tree of knowledge. Start reading. Start shining. Start being positive. People have started watering in the past, their flowers have bloomed now and have become successful. It’s your time. Don’t force the process. It takes time for becoming what we want to become from what we are at the moment. Don’t let these both thoughts collide. Maintain a distance between these two to avoid restlessness. Keep growing and let others grow too. Have faith in the process. Have faith in your ability.
