A key journey in a train with a stranger

It was a hot sunny October afternoon of 2015, when I stepped into the railway station of LokManya Tilak Terminus (LTT). I checked out the electronic display fixed near the enquiry office and came to know that my train will be arriving on platform number 3 at 12:43 pm. I checked out my watch. It was 12:30 pm. I rushed to the stair case. When I stepped down the stair case on the other side, I reflexed back in a shock. Seeing the platform completely filled with passengers suddenly made me feel more concerned about our growing population. I just imagined the book Inferno by Dan Brown which was in my bag, which I had picked to read in that journey from LTT to my home, Kakinada. Note that I have already read that book twice till that date.  For a moment I wished that Bertrand Zobrist should exist in real.

* Train tickets mentioned here are just because this is a train journey and life engine because engine is related to train *

I stepped into the train when it arrived. S5 coach, Berth No. 32 it was. I always prefer Upper berth when I travel alone, because of the freedom it offers. Just go and sleep whenever you need, no issues. I surveyed the people around, a couple in their late 60’s sitting near the window seat, a man sitting with a smart phone in his hand and another man sleeping on the other upper berth of the compartment. Not a single person which I wished to see. No colors in the compartment.

The train blew horns and the tires started to roll slowly making the passengers feel the effect of a mild earthquake. After 10 minutes of doing nothing, a young man in his late 20’s came along with his wife and a 3 to 4 year old son. Finally something to feel happy about. Hey, I am talking about the small cute baby son. He came to me and asked where I was going. I said Kakinada town, the final stop. He then requested me that they are two members and they got tickets to Secunderabad in two different coaches S 5 and S 9. First we went to S9 and there no one could shift to S 5 as some were with their families and somewere old enough not to shift. Then he requested me to shift to S 9 as I was travelling alone. His berth number was 31 and mine was 32. Seeing his wife and their 3 year old son, I was not able to say No. I said I will shift at the next stop. They thanked me and arranged their luggage in the space provided under the lower berths. The train stopped after 15 min at the next stop and the guy said S 9 coach, Berth No. 41. I controlled my anger hearing the berth number, and finally got down. Shit! Lower Berth.

When I stepped in S 9, which I consider lucky number for me, I moved to the berth No. 41. Just 3 people were seated in the compartment of 8. And that young man said that no one could shift, he should have said that half of the compartment was empty. Let it be. A couple in their 40’s were sitting and chatting, I mean both on their own smart phones. One man in his early 50’s was sitting at the window opposite to me. At least I got a window seat here. That man in his early 50’s started the conversation.

“So that couple which came here few minutes back exchanged this seat to you?” he asked.

I said “Yes”.

He nodded his head and said “Good.” and then he asked “Where are you going?”

I said “Kakinada” and asked “You?”

He said “Secunderabad”.

And the conversation took off from introduction to all trending topics then, around the world. Till evening we talked a lot about the worldly affairs, politics, economics, population and marriages in India. Then for a break, we just sat watching nature outside for some time, it felt good.

Then we took tea and while drinking it, he said that after a long time he talked in this way to a stranger. I said me too. Then we started to talk about our lives. He asked what you do? I said I completed my B.Tech last year. He nodded and asked now what you do?  I said “I help my father in his business . . And I also blog” Then I explained him about blogging and what revolutions it can create if we use it in a good way. Then he told me about his daughter and her determination to follow her passion. He told that his daughter started to learn Japanese at a very young age, as she was fascinated by that language. Even though many people in their family opposed it, she didn’t let down her passion. She then got an offer as a translator in a company as the clients of company were Japanese. Then she flew to Japan, and settled down there.

I was very much inspired by the story. And he started to tell about his parents and told that he is very lucky to have such parents. He appreciated a lot about CIPLA’s initiative of treating Cancer Patients for free. There was a center of CIPLA where they treated Cancer patients.  There he admitted one of his relative who was suffering from Cancer and CIPLA took extreme care. There were lot of patients and CIPLA treated each and every person with utmost Care.  He told that he saw many people dying there, and told how precious life was.

He told to follow the passion as we will never get another life to follow our passion. I made up my mind that I will not give up blogging, which earlier I thought of giving up. I even stopped blogging for six consecutive months before from (Jan 2015 to June 2015). Then he told about his reason for his trip to Hyderabad (Twin city of Secunderabad),  as one of his relative was not feeling well, and that relative’s son called him to visit them once.

Time had passed over 9 pm then, so we started having dinner. We shared our food. My dad’s sister (Lives in New Vashi from where I travelled to LTT for boarding that train) packed me pooris and curry along with some khakras. He brought chapatis and we shared them. Then we had a little chat on spiritual and divine topics. He told that he visited a village ( a village near to my place) twice and he felt solace and calmness by visiting temples in that place. He told that his wife played an important role in taking him to spiritual path. I never visited that place even though I heard it before. I made up my mind that I will visit that place once.

It was over 11pm, and he said he sleeps by 11. Hyderabad which we will reach by 4 in the morning, I told him to wake me up by 3:30 am. But when I woke up, it was 7 am and he was gone. I told him thanks in my mind. I brushed my teeth and then had tea and Idli at the next station. Dan Brown would be angry with me that I didn’t even take out the book during the entire day of the journey. Just like Dan Brown unlocks the mysteries in a thrilling way, Life unlocked the key to my passion, in a most unexpected way. Who would have thought that my shift from S 5 to S 9 will shift my thinking on life. I felt inspired that day and in the afternoon I stepped down from Train on the Platform of Kakinada Town with a new ray of happiness and hope.

I knew that even though new year was four months ahead, my new year has started then. My new way of thinking towards life. To bring out the creativity in me, no matter what. I left behind the nervousness and depressions I have gone through then. I knew that a new sunshine is waiting to spread the golden rays on my future. I looked forward for my life with passion and determination to succeed.

Thank you uncle. This was my key Journey in a train with a stranger, now who is not a stranger anymore. Thanks for reading.

For that one passionate Neuron

Writing is like a building, which word by word we have to build to make it as a permanent home in the hearts of the readers.

Writing, which I consider is one of the oldest professions in the world for the reason that they say even our fate is also written. It is not easy to arrange the words in such a way that they sound not only meaningful but also creative. Words arranged in such a way, that they smile back at the reader and seek their attention are the words which create an impact. It is the perfect combination of words which makes the reader read it till the end. However how much creative combination of words it may be, they will end at some time while reading. But when the words end in a written article, they should take a rebirth in the minds of the reader. It should be the revolution which when ends in written words, starts wandering in the brains of the readers as thoughts and wander till they finally settle in the heart. The thoughts which make the readers think, think about their own abilities and creativity, driving them towards their passion with words as the force.

There is magic filled in the ideas, which comes out only when they are thought upon. Everything starts with a spark in that one neuron which is passionate to shine, which initiates the thought, and once it is on track, it forms a light. The darkness in our brain is filled with the light of the thoughts. Suddenly we start shining from inside. The path to destiny is not outside, it is inside. Within you. Just hiding in darkness, waiting for that one passionate neuron to shine and to come out. Not only our fate is written, it is also timed. But we don’t know the perfect unit, scale and parameters of time with which our fate is timed. So we should consider our confidence as the scale of time and passion as the unit of time. Once the passion of our life is filling continuously, the destiny is near. It’s in you, just waiting to come out. To come out and settle in the hearts of readers forever. Pick a topic and start thinking, to which topic is your neuron shining? Follow that light. There’s your destiny.

Yu and Mi (Part-3)

Yu and Mi
(Part-3)
*****
** This is a work of fiction **

For the first time in my life I came to know that words are not only costly but also heavy. I was able to feel the weight of her words and they were pushing me down and down into depression. Her words “I got married two years ago” were spreading in every part of my existence as a virus which may have some deadly consequences. I wondered how our mother Earth can hold all this weight of globe without complaining. May be that’s why we call our Earth as mother Earth. I was really missing my mother. I had no words to speak, even if I had, they may have committed suicide within my voice box. To be clear, my mindset was completely unclear.

But uncle didn’t tell me anything about his son-in-law in the morning when I asked him about his family. I turned my face towards him. Only your bones are broken, but your daughter broke my heart. But to my surprise he was also dumb-struck. He was as surprised as me when he heard her saying that she got married two years ago. Just hope that he doesn’t fall down holding his chest.

“Yea. I got married to my passion, Painting, two years ago. I was in a relationship with my passion from 9 years, then I finally decided to marry it. I got this idea from your words AbhimanYu ‘Finding your passion is like finding a soul-mate and following it is like keeping her happy forever.’ Thanks. ” she said this with lot of passion. Her passion was visible in her eyes. For one moment I wondered that she has painted herself to perfection!

But these words spread in my body as an anti-virus to her previous words. Every part started to feel alive, again. I was suddenly feeling weightless. It felt like I was flying and may fall into one of her paintings, any moment. I turned towards his father to thank him for bringing up such a daughter. He was smiling too.

“Thanks to you RashMi, I have applied my own words many a time before, but for the first time someone else has used my words, it means a lot me”, I said finally as some words found a way through my Voice box.

“Hey Yu.. It was my pleasure to use your words. You are such an inspirer”, she said. Have you ever seen the happiest person on Earth? You should have seen me at that time.

“Thanks Mi, that’s so sweet of you.” I said blushing.

“Marriage with passion is ok dear, but where this passion which you are marrying, will live? On the footpath? Or as they say in movies, in the heart??” said her father with a smirk.

“Dad, money is not an issue. It is just to buy things.  It can’t buy happiness. Anyway I am not a girl that desires to live in a duplex, I always love to live in 2 BHK.” said Mi, with her passion as the bow and her confidence as arrows.

That’s it. Now I came to know why my Heart is divided exactly into 4 parts. Just because she is always fond of 2BHK(2+1+1=4).

“Yes uncle. Money can give you things but not happiness associated with those things. We can’t buy happiness, we can only generate it, and fuel for happiness is our passion. Doing what we don’t like makes us frustrated with what we do. Doing what we like makes us happier with what we do. Life is good only until money is in hands, but life is dangerous when money is in mind. If we really love our passion, it lives in the things we do and gives birth to thoughts in other minds. Money will keep flowing. Money is for flowing, not for being stagnant.” I said opposing uncle. I can never hear anything against following our passion.

Uncle was surely speechless but whereas Mi was completely speechless too.

“Wow Yu, can’t agree more. Very true and inspiring. Now I am number 1 fan of your words.” then she turned towards her father, “If money is in mind there are more chances for a person to meet with accidents.” said Mi winking towards her father.

We all three started laughing. Everything was perfect at that moment.

“Haha.. I don’t know about professionally, but Students of this generation are passionately confident.”  said her father laughing. We all laughed again.

“So come, let’s have coffee, I am laughing too much today. I need coffee.” Mi said still trying to suppress her laughter. What she said? Coffee? With me? Come again!! And what? Coffee to overcome laughter! Wow..

We both started walking towards the canteen of the hospital. Sometimes it’s not about the place where we drink coffee, it’s about the people with whom we drink coffee. We ordered two coffees and took our seats.

“So do you believe in love at first sight?” Mi said with her hands resting on the table. My ears went deaf. Am I really awake? Isn’t this too fast. I have been always against time. Sometimes 1 second takes years to pass, and sometimes within seconds life changes by years. One quote which I wrote few weeks earlier was eager to come out of my Voice box.

Love at first sight is just love at first sight with the skin. It takes some more meetings, some more layers to fall in love with the heart, as our heart is some layers deeper than our skin.” I said this, but I knew I fell in love with her, years before I met her. I fell in love with just her mere existence in this world. I was waiting for her reply.

“Wow. That’s great. Let’s get married. Let’s extract the layers.”

Will work on part-4 soon.

Be the Cartographer of your destiny

Life is like a map which we have to design in order to reach our destiny.

Ever thought that these lines on our palm can be the hidden lines to our destiny! A map which takes us to our destiny. The reason for which we are born. These lines, which are the portal that takes us to our destiny depending upon the field on which we put our hands. Join hands with fellow humans and unlock the cipher of our palm-lines, our destiny.

Cartographer is a person who makes maps. So can’t you become the cartographer of your own destiny? Your life? Design your life. The map that will lead you to your destiny. What’s the use of living life with no passion in living it. What’s the use of living life in a normal way, when we are given only one chance to live it? Change the gear of living.

Don’t fear, change the gear, smile be the only thing you wear, see your destiny will be near.

Never let your mindset Change the way you live. Don’t think that tough situations makes you weak. They just tests your strength in darktimes, so that you can shine brighter in good times. Shine. Shine from within. Go. Find yourself.

Life is a game in which we are sent with one chanced life and we have to keep playing till we find the purpose of our game, which is Destiny! Happy gaming.

Thanks for reading. Wishing you all a happy November.. Explore life.

Start thinking in an Impetus way

State of mind will be in a suffering mode if you keep your thoughts in a buffering mode.

Never keep your mind in a buffering mode. It doesn’t mean that we should take a decision quickly. It means that the decision should be brought into action quickly. It depends on our mindset. Don’t allow your brain to become stagnant by making it to think on the same topic. Take the decision to the next step. Bring it into action. Let the thoughts flow. Never let your thoughts to buffer, because it forms clouds of doubt in our mind. No buffering in thoughts, no suffering in life.

It takes time to take a decision because it is related with choosing. Choose the best after taking all the parameters into consideration which are related to the decision. Impetus (a force which makes an activity happen quickly) thinking makes it easier and wiser to take the decision. Be the force. Be the driving force which drives you to your destiny. You didn’t come in this world to go. You came here to leave some part of yourself here. That amount depends on the decisions you take. So while taking a decision, take opinions of your heart and loved ones and only then take a decision. And once you take a decision, don’t let it buffer again. Consider  opinions after that decision as fog. Move on. Because beyond these fog of opinions and clouds of doubt, lies your destiny. So shape your destiny.

The best is yet to come

You will never feel happy, if you give some space in your heart on rent to negativity and ego. Because they may occupy your heart. Then where will happiness stay?

Our source of happiness is not in the things or the people we see. The source of happiness is in the way we see them. If you use your eyes not only for seeing beautiful things, but also for seeing the beauty in things, you will always be happy. There’s beauty in everything, if you don’t see it, either you are seeing it from the wrong angle or at the wrong time.

Even though the memories are stored in brain, the links to those memories are stored in our heart. So don’t think that people stay in your mind, they stay in your heart. If you keep people in brain (Enmity and hatred), then you will feel heavy and gloomy. If you keep people in your heart (love and care), then you feel lighthearted and happy.

You don’t have to step down on every station, the train of your life stops. You are on this journey of life for a particular destination. Stops are not the destinations, they are just the assessment times of your life. Analyze what has happened in your life and try to improve yourself. You don’t have to prove that to anyone. Just keep doing what makes you happy. Don’t hurt anyone in that process. As they say the best days of our life are yet to come. Believe it.

If things are not going your way, it’s just that the things are trying to tell you to follow a new way. The better way.

Life is not same to everyone. Some count days as +1 and some count as -1. What’s the point in being sad and feeling worried. You can live life in thousand ways on a single day. Do what makes you happy, as happiness is like air. You have to breath it to feel it. Be happy. Breath happiness. Stay inspired.

It’s been a week since my last post. No, I didn’t run away just because they said our world is going to end by the end of this September. The reason is that my mother fell down of a slope and has injured herself last Friday, and now she is absolutely fine. Doctor has applied a white cement bandage around her right hand for three weeks. She is feeling good now. So all well then. Take Care. Have fun with work. Thanks for reading.
