We celebrate it by burning crackers and by offering pooja to the Goddess Lakshmi. Before the onset of Diwali every family keeps their homes clean as there is a belief that the Goddess Lakshmi visits and blesses the homes which are clean and well decorated with lights.

So let’s take one more step towards the deeper interpretation of Diwali festival. Our body, the homes in which we live literally, also needs to be blessed with happiness and prosperity. Isn’t there a need to clean our body!? Remove all the badness that has found a home in your body. Let only the good rule your body. That’s why people celebrate Diwali as even Happy new year. The death of bad within us and rebirth of good. So let’s celebrate Diwali as a festival of new birth, new mindset.

What is the significance of burning crackers on the day of Diwali? The significance of burning crackers is to remind the victory of good over bad. Even though the bad may be heavier than the good in some cases, the weight of badness itself causes it to drown in the oceans of time and makes the good victorious. It is always the good that wins over the bad and bad burn to ashes.

What’s the significance of decorating homes with diyas and worshipping Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity and happiness?
So this decoration is an indication to follow your instinct. To decorate your home with diyas means to burn your passion with confidence and spread the light within your body. To decorate your body with passion, confidence and to shine from within. To decorate your souls with flowers of goodness and sweets of happiness.

It is time to carry this flame of our passion forward to the generations to come. So let’s build the walls of Diwali, which prevents the bad to enter our body and also which keeps the good within us safe and comfortable. Let the good in you rule the homely body. Decorate your soul and shine from within. Happy diwali. Happy new year.
