Infinite possibilities

Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life. -Eckhart Tolle

There is a strange force within our nature that keeps pulling us towards either past or future. It doesn’t allow us to stay in the present, in the moment. Nowadays most of us are living our lives in hopes that something better is going to happen in the future. In that sense, it means that we are living for the future, in the future. That’s not the way to live, never was and never will be. You can dream about the future, but cannot live there. You can only live in the present moment, that’s the only thing you actually have.

We all keep complaining about our lives, we blame it on circumstances, people, fate, and money. We do it because we are looking for a change in future, but not in present. In fact every moment offers us infinite possibilities! You are laughing on this now, right? Seeing around, you may think it’s impossible, but if you see within, it’s not only possible, but it’s already existing!

Let us consider this by an example. Imagine that there are hundred doors and for each door there is one key. There is only a single slot provided for all those keys where you can put one key at a time. For every key you put in it, one of the door unlocks. Now you have those hundred keys in your hand. But you focus your eyes and mind on only one of the door (maybe anything from career options, desires, relationships, etc) and keep changing keys in that slot (brain) hoping that one particular door (future) will unlock. But you don’t notice that with every key (moment) you put in that slot, one of the other doors keeps opening. But you are unaware of it. You are ignorant of the process. You consider yourself as limited, and your possibilities as limited. If you are in the moment, you are more aware, more observing! You can observe every door, every possibility.

We cannot live in the future. You cannot wear sweater now just because it will be winter after few months. Future is uncertain. You only have is this moment. You cannot deny the moment. If you have become a triangle, it’s difficult to become a circle from this state. You have to let go of what you have falsely assumed yourself as, here as triangle, and turn back into a point (•) again. From then you can start becoming a circle. That’s what we really call as transforming. Letting go is an art that only few can master.

Don’t expect anything from future. It also doesn’t know where it is going.
Don’t expect anything from the past, it cannot take you anywhere as it’s gone.
Don’t expect from the present as it is already giving you infinite possibilities!

Thanks for reading. 🙂

Life is a vector quantity

Most of us live our life as if it is a scalar quantity. But the moment we realize our life is a vector quantity we tend to concentrate on direction of our life rather than magnitude of our life.

Scalar: Something which has just magnitude but no direction.
Vector: Something which has both magnitude and direction.

When we look at world and check at qualities with which we measure life of people, we come to know that they all have been converted into scalar by us. Marks, money, power, passion, age etc. . But in real they are all vector quantities and their directions should be towards goodness. Marks should direct students to improve their skills, money should direct earners to help those who are not in a state to earn, power should direct power holders to use it to get justice for those who seek it. Passion is important, but passion without purpose is not worth of anything. To direct our passion so that it can help others should be a purpose. Age is just a mere number for some, but clever people know age is a factor of experience. As age grows our curiosity should increase in the direction of learning something new. Every day we should learn something new.

Life is not just a journey from birth to death with certain speed (I mean number of days it takes to travel from birth to death, age). Life is a vector by every means. So after taking birth and gaining consciousness, travelling towards a particular direction makes our life more meaningful and journey more joyful. When we ask others, many say future belongs to us. So they think that they work for a better future. To make the future better they sacrifice their present. They think future is a direction which drives them forward. But we often tend to forget that our future doesn’t exist. Future is like a ‘garland’ which is yet to be created with ‘flowers’ which we have at present. But we don’t know whether we will be able to complete it or not. So future is just an imagination. So the real direction of our life is purpose. Purpose is what gives gives our passion a direction. Because purpose is a real thing as it comes from real elements like determination and contribution where as future is formed with thoughts and fiction. Purpose is the back bone of every invention and discovery. So purpose should be the direction of our passion. If our drive for passion can help others to come out of a dark times, then purpose is fulfilled. So direction in our life matters. Travel in a good direction.

Thanks for reading. I have been away from WP for few days. On 29th of August, our most auspicious festival, Paryushan, began and on last monday it has completed. So as it goes that on the final and eight day of this festival we greet ‘Micchami dukkadam’. If in any way my words or actions have hurt you knowingly or unknowingly, I seek your forgiveness. We request this to every individual and thus cleanse our soul from our actions which we may have performed knowingly or unknowingly. Micchami dukkadam. I know i have been late, it was on Sept 5th.

Abundance of happiness

When people think of life as a deal, it becomes more complex situation which we cannot deal with.

Deal is something in which we give away something to receive something else. But on the other hand, Life is always about giving and spreading happiness.

Created using: Textgram app.

Time is a place. There are three different regions in this place and there are even boundaries to them which we have thinned down by our ignorance. Those regions are past, present and future. We all live in the ‘present’ region of time. We cannot change the situations in past region (our past) and cannot predict what is going on in the future region (our future). So how can we make a deal with these places! How can we export our happiness to the past, where there will be no one to utilize it and how can we import expectations from future, who are sending their junk to our region. Cut the deal. We have abundance of happiness here itself. Be in the present. This is what we are supposed to do. To give happiness to others in the same region of present and to expect nothing in return. Life is a medium to refine the soul and make it free from the prisons of cycle of life.

Thanks for reading. Have a beautiful weekend. Spend good time in present region of time.

I don’t know for some reason, the comments which I make on other blogs are not showing up. They are going to the spam folder. Hope it gets resolved soon. Thanks for the support.

Family and Friends are the best people to be in this present region. Because happiness magnifies only in their presence. So make the most of time.

Relation between time and humans

With passing time, if you are not learning anything new, then you are not living, you are just ticking like a timer.

If you keep looking at her, she keeps sinking.
If you keep thinking about her, she keeps shrinking.
If you ignore her, she goes away quickly jumping.
When you don’t have her, she laughs at you winking.
Because she is time.

Creativity, the more you use it, the more you have it.
Food and fuel, the more you use it, the less you have it.
Interest, you use it or not, the interest on money always keep increasing.
She, whether you use it or not, she always keeps decreasing.
Because she is time.

You don’t know how much you have her,
Then why you smell faults instead of a flower!

You don’t know when she will be gone,
Still why you waste her by sticking to a phone!

You never know when she is right or wrong,
Then why don’t you listen to a melodious song!

You never know when she is fast or slow,
Then why still you are not learning to grow!

You will never get ahead of her,
Still why you keep running for her!

She is not the same for everyone,
Why you still compare yourself with what others have done!

She is not your road to walk on,
She is not your companion to walk with,
She is not your luggage to carry on your back,
She is not your mobile phone to live with,
She is not your money to exchange with,
She is not your talent to showcase,
She is not your face to make up,
She is not your loss that can be covered,
She is your profit that can be saved for future,
She is not at all yours, but she is involved in everything you do and even when you do nothing.

You are a small part of time. Make it the best part. And it is always the best time to do what you want to do, if you think so. In the entire book, there is always a quote which strikes first whenever we hear that book’s name, be that quote

The time remaining is not for covering the time which is already lost, it is for decorating moments which we create in the present. It can be done only by looking into your present actions.

Time is referred as ‘her’ just to give it a human effect.
Thanks to Maya Angelou, for her beautiful quote, which gave me the idea for this relativity.

A key journey in a train with a stranger

It was a hot sunny October afternoon of 2015, when I stepped into the railway station of LokManya Tilak Terminus (LTT). I checked out the electronic display fixed near the enquiry office and came to know that my train will be arriving on platform number 3 at 12:43 pm. I checked out my watch. It was 12:30 pm. I rushed to the stair case. When I stepped down the stair case on the other side, I reflexed back in a shock. Seeing the platform completely filled with passengers suddenly made me feel more concerned about our growing population. I just imagined the book Inferno by Dan Brown which was in my bag, which I had picked to read in that journey from LTT to my home, Kakinada. Note that I have already read that book twice till that date.  For a moment I wished that Bertrand Zobrist should exist in real.

* Train tickets mentioned here are just because this is a train journey and life engine because engine is related to train *

I stepped into the train when it arrived. S5 coach, Berth No. 32 it was. I always prefer Upper berth when I travel alone, because of the freedom it offers. Just go and sleep whenever you need, no issues. I surveyed the people around, a couple in their late 60’s sitting near the window seat, a man sitting with a smart phone in his hand and another man sleeping on the other upper berth of the compartment. Not a single person which I wished to see. No colors in the compartment.

The train blew horns and the tires started to roll slowly making the passengers feel the effect of a mild earthquake. After 10 minutes of doing nothing, a young man in his late 20’s came along with his wife and a 3 to 4 year old son. Finally something to feel happy about. Hey, I am talking about the small cute baby son. He came to me and asked where I was going. I said Kakinada town, the final stop. He then requested me that they are two members and they got tickets to Secunderabad in two different coaches S 5 and S 9. First we went to S9 and there no one could shift to S 5 as some were with their families and somewere old enough not to shift. Then he requested me to shift to S 9 as I was travelling alone. His berth number was 31 and mine was 32. Seeing his wife and their 3 year old son, I was not able to say No. I said I will shift at the next stop. They thanked me and arranged their luggage in the space provided under the lower berths. The train stopped after 15 min at the next stop and the guy said S 9 coach, Berth No. 41. I controlled my anger hearing the berth number, and finally got down. Shit! Lower Berth.

When I stepped in S 9, which I consider lucky number for me, I moved to the berth No. 41. Just 3 people were seated in the compartment of 8. And that young man said that no one could shift, he should have said that half of the compartment was empty. Let it be. A couple in their 40’s were sitting and chatting, I mean both on their own smart phones. One man in his early 50’s was sitting at the window opposite to me. At least I got a window seat here. That man in his early 50’s started the conversation.

“So that couple which came here few minutes back exchanged this seat to you?” he asked.

I said “Yes”.

He nodded his head and said “Good.” and then he asked “Where are you going?”

I said “Kakinada” and asked “You?”

He said “Secunderabad”.

And the conversation took off from introduction to all trending topics then, around the world. Till evening we talked a lot about the worldly affairs, politics, economics, population and marriages in India. Then for a break, we just sat watching nature outside for some time, it felt good.

Then we took tea and while drinking it, he said that after a long time he talked in this way to a stranger. I said me too. Then we started to talk about our lives. He asked what you do? I said I completed my B.Tech last year. He nodded and asked now what you do?  I said “I help my father in his business . . And I also blog” Then I explained him about blogging and what revolutions it can create if we use it in a good way. Then he told me about his daughter and her determination to follow her passion. He told that his daughter started to learn Japanese at a very young age, as she was fascinated by that language. Even though many people in their family opposed it, she didn’t let down her passion. She then got an offer as a translator in a company as the clients of company were Japanese. Then she flew to Japan, and settled down there.

I was very much inspired by the story. And he started to tell about his parents and told that he is very lucky to have such parents. He appreciated a lot about CIPLA’s initiative of treating Cancer Patients for free. There was a center of CIPLA where they treated Cancer patients.  There he admitted one of his relative who was suffering from Cancer and CIPLA took extreme care. There were lot of patients and CIPLA treated each and every person with utmost Care.  He told that he saw many people dying there, and told how precious life was.

He told to follow the passion as we will never get another life to follow our passion. I made up my mind that I will not give up blogging, which earlier I thought of giving up. I even stopped blogging for six consecutive months before from (Jan 2015 to June 2015). Then he told about his reason for his trip to Hyderabad (Twin city of Secunderabad),  as one of his relative was not feeling well, and that relative’s son called him to visit them once.

Time had passed over 9 pm then, so we started having dinner. We shared our food. My dad’s sister (Lives in New Vashi from where I travelled to LTT for boarding that train) packed me pooris and curry along with some khakras. He brought chapatis and we shared them. Then we had a little chat on spiritual and divine topics. He told that he visited a village ( a village near to my place) twice and he felt solace and calmness by visiting temples in that place. He told that his wife played an important role in taking him to spiritual path. I never visited that place even though I heard it before. I made up my mind that I will visit that place once.

It was over 11pm, and he said he sleeps by 11. Hyderabad which we will reach by 4 in the morning, I told him to wake me up by 3:30 am. But when I woke up, it was 7 am and he was gone. I told him thanks in my mind. I brushed my teeth and then had tea and Idli at the next station. Dan Brown would be angry with me that I didn’t even take out the book during the entire day of the journey. Just like Dan Brown unlocks the mysteries in a thrilling way, Life unlocked the key to my passion, in a most unexpected way. Who would have thought that my shift from S 5 to S 9 will shift my thinking on life. I felt inspired that day and in the afternoon I stepped down from Train on the Platform of Kakinada Town with a new ray of happiness and hope.

I knew that even though new year was four months ahead, my new year has started then. My new way of thinking towards life. To bring out the creativity in me, no matter what. I left behind the nervousness and depressions I have gone through then. I knew that a new sunshine is waiting to spread the golden rays on my future. I looked forward for my life with passion and determination to succeed.

Thank you uncle. This was my key Journey in a train with a stranger, now who is not a stranger anymore. Thanks for reading.

The season of Decisions: Decide in unison

2016, the digits sums up to nine,
Just to tell that, this time everything is gonna be fine.
Stand up facing the sky with both your hands spread wide and say, this time is mine,
And see all your cosmic stars fall in line.

With time, they say, some things go extinct, because they are no longer remembered or just because they can no longer survive in the world. I am not talking about dinosaurs, it’s about peace and happiness. We lost them somewhere on the track of developing ourselves, somewhere where we can never find, with our open eyes. In a world where the speed of activities are trying to sync with the rotation of earth around the sun.

It’s time to close the eyes and seek for that inner peace and happiness. Only in that darkness you can find the light, the light formed by your cosmic stars, formed by your passion. Your destiny is just a decision away.

Everything depends on a decision, as it is wonderfully said by Tony Robbins that “In the moments of decision, your destiny is shaped”.
Internet, though it made the world small by Connecting everyone beyond boundaries through it, it is still not able to make the hearts bigger by accepting the People the way they are. Not judging anyone depending upon the places and Religions is the basic requirement of that. So it’s new year, let’s make this decision, as it is the season to take decisions. Not to divide people according to their religions, because religions are just different languages to understand the one supreme power, the creator, GOD. Religions are not different worlds of God, they are just different ladders to reach the one God.

image

Just like a pyramid, though there are many starting points at the bottom, they all reach one point, one common point as they climb to its top. Same are all the religions. Though there are different ways to climb, the destiny of that journey is same. So what’s the use of dividing people on the basis of religions?

We all speak different languages. Still water means Water in English, Wasser means Water in German, Paani means water in Hindi. Even though we spell them and pronounce them differently, the meaning of the word doesn’t change. Such are the religions. Different languages to understand the same meaning of the one and only God.

The season of Decisions has already begun, why to sit back and follow the time. Stand up and lead the time. Yes, let us all take this Decision in Unison. To stop dividing people on the basis of religions, or by any other means. That will give us back the happiness and peace which we have lost on the track, because dividing people divides our heart which in turn divides our happiness and inner peace into small pieces which we can’t see. Once we stop dividing, we can get back our happiness and inner peace. Let’s make the world independent.

“The real independence is the freedom from dividing people on the basis of religions.”

Thanks for reading. Deciding??
