** The word for Dosti in English is Friendship. **

So it’s time to celebrate! Kudos time. Friendship is a relation which is nothing less than a soul-made family. To connect with people is easy, but to connect with a soul, is a Herculean task. The one with whom we connect with soul are friends. Friends, without whom, even our liFe is a lie. Today, the first Sunday of August, is celebrated as Friendship day. A day to celebrate, to cherish all the moments that have been spent together with friends.

It is not easy to find friends. 1000 breaking star wishes and then one friend enters your life. Just wonder how many stars break each day in the far universe. The society, schools, colleges and social websites are the basic temples where we make friends. We gradually start liking their company and slowly the soul-dots gets connected. Life, which is like a conundrum, becomes easy to solve with friends on our side. They laud us on our success, they control us on our failure. They are in our life to make us strong. 

Not everyone is likely to stay forever. But in such a short life, where in a population of 8 billion people, in a planet of radius 6400 kms, you have met that person!! Is it just by chance? No. It is to change. To change at least something in your life, friends’ path is meant to cross yours.

Mere dost, Ye jo teri yaadein hamesha bulaati hai mujhe,
Aankhon me badal bankar rulaati hai mujhe,
Aur vahi aansu, baarish bankar hasaate hai mujhe,
Mere dil ki ahemiyat ka ehsaas jataate hai mujhe.

Remember, the friends are the ones who bolster us in times of debacle. The emotions which we feel with them are priceless. Whenever I memorize of myself as a kid, who used to feel fearful to walk in class, in crowd is now relatively stronger. This is just because of my friends who have laid a fearless belief in me, directly or indirectly.

Even we as readers and bloggers share a special type of friendship. A connection of words, the words which rise from the screen and fall directly in our hearts. Not easy to make someone feel comfortable in our company. I am glad that I have met so many beautiful souls in my life and this virtual-life. We all are connected by souls, just separated by bodies.

So can I happily say,

Hey friend, the memories of yours, which always call me. Turn down into clouds and make me cry. Those tears fall down as rain, and makes me happy. You are the one who made me feel the importance of my Heart.
