What if your senses had no sense in them?

Add a sense to your senses

What if you were able to see, but not able to decide what you were seeing?

What if you were able to listen, but not able to interpret what you were hearing?

What if you were able to smell things but cannot smell the existence of your self!?

What if you were able to taste food, but cannot understand the tastes of people?

What if you felt just the touch of bodies but cannot feel the touch of souls and even worse, your own soul?

Aren’t we great that we are already loaded with these five senses, and that too with an algorithm of what is what! But we take them as granted. We don’t realize their importance. Senses are not like a browser to be explored, they are like a responsibility to be carried out. Browse responsibly. Senses are important to understand the working of our body and functionality of the sensory organs.

There is already a common sense in our senses, now we have to add a sixth sense in our every sense. The sense of importance, the sense of responsibility. There is always a deeper meaning of our senses. Normal way of using our senses is dedicated for our mundane life while the deeper use of our senses should be used for studying life more carefully.

Vision:
Without vision our legs can never set a foot ahead. Our eye sight is the light through which we see the world. So take a step ahead to see the beauty in things rather than the beautiful things.

Hearing:
As they say, listening is an art. And we have to master it. Being on the receivers end, we can dissipate their negativity and problems by just listening to people. Don’t listen what you want to listen from them, listen what they want to tell.

Smell:
We can smell the people by their behavior. It is a saying. But it’s true. Smell in this context means to understand a person. Smell the people, keep a nostril on people’s behavior, if they release the smell of negativity go away from them.

Taste:
By the taste of people we can decide their character. So taste is important factor because their interests reflect their thoughts. And their thoughts reflect their character. So don’t taste people by their colors, taste by their thoughts.

Touch:
They say, all the problems heal just by a touch! Yes that’s true. But not by the touch of just a body, but by the soul in it. We can’t see the souls, but a soul can connect with other souls by just a touch. We can’t see the touch, but we can
feel them. And to feel the touch, we first have to be connected to our souls. So, get in touch with your soul.

Just imagine what if there was no sense in your sense? Horrible.. Isn’t it? So feel lucky. And add sense to your senses. Feel happy about your senses. You have all you want in yourself. Senses are associated with brain and heart and act as the medium of communication between them.  Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend.. πŸ™‚

A profound, thought-provoking post. Our senses render meaning to our existence- everything we observe around us is a manifestation of our thoughts and our senses help us achieve that so effortlessly. Absolutely agree with their importance in our lives.. πŸ™‚

Great post Jackie, we have to live our life using all our senses. I’d like to add one more sense and that’s our intuition. This is often disregarded and it’s too bad because it’s always talking to us. We just need to tune in πŸ™‚ Have a great weekend πŸ˜€

As I am biology student, I must tell sense is the ultimate thing which distinguish a living and nonliving. Moreover, self consciousness is trait exhibited by humans alone.
So you can measure the importance of senses in our life.
    Good topic😊
