C is for Content: Day-3

“Content is the tent which we build in the hearts of readers and our time period of stay in there depends upon how deep our content penetrates into their hearts.”

Content is the king they say, but no it is the entire kingdom. I am not just talking about the written content but also about being content. How different these two terms may be, we get the same satisfaction as the result out of both, both writing content and being content.

Content is like hypnotism, a good one. The readers who letter by letter, word by word and sentence by sentence fall deeper into your world, is like hypnotizing them into  your world. It depends on you how well you take them. They should forget everything else going around them. They should sit on your letters and travel through your words. Your content is the fuel for this mode of transportation. It is never easy to write content but it is more difficult to make others know that you have written some content and it is most difficult to make others read your content. It is no one day process. It takes time. It takes effort. But the key is content. Creativity forms the base for this content. Stirring up information with creativity gives your content, the wings. If you feel satisfied that what you have written is great, its the first step to happiness. Have patience, its not that you are not producing great content, it is just that still eyes of readers haven’t fallen yet on your content and once it falls, you are a hypnotist? Right? Why worry then? Have patience. Good content always finds its place, it is the kingdom after all.

Now being content, not many are, is essential to keep our smile alive even in dark times. Being content helps us to forget worldly desires and thus makes us happy even with smallest things. Being content with what we have is like spreading some ripples in universe of our existence and our happiness. It feels like everything around us is happy and content with itself thus maintaining the balance in nature. It is taking every moment as gift, not a curse. It is like taking every other moment as an another chance, to do new, to do what our heart is telling us to do. Being content is like I have no more desires, all I have is happiness.
Being content is important to find peace and a state of equilibrium. It keeps our mind active and doesn’t let our mind wander in useless directions. Be content. Be happy. Don’t just live life, make your life alive.

Coming to the challenge, as the name itself says it is very challenging. On every day of month April, except Sundays, which makes it to 26 days, each participant should publish a post relating to the letter corresponding to the number of the day thus completing all the 26 alphabets. For example on day 1, the post should be on something related on letter A, on the second day it should be related to B and this goes on. Exciting? Isn’t it? Sign up and get your heads high for this challenge. Time is ticking, last day of signing up is today.

And as always, thanks for reading. Have a great week ahead. Be happy.

Wonderful! Such a simple thing, but it never occurred to me before. That we feel the same satisfaction, the outcome of producing a great content and being content is all the same…pure happiness.:-)

Forgetting about the world about you is one of the greatest strengths of great content.

Outstanding way to show the paths each of these two words can take. Its interesting, because language is one of those things, that although used every day, is rarely contemplated. It carries more meaning and depth than most realize. This post definitely seeps into the more tangible aspects of creativity/life. Keep up the great work!

A very intuitive and excellent post, Jackie! This one is a must read for so many people out there. You have nailed down the most essential thing we should always have in ourselves. The negative feeling of greed and competitiveness is polluting the entire world, whichever medium it is, and it’s killing the planet. ‘Content’ is the weapon to save us from ourselves. Well thought out and brilliantly penned!
I wrote something similar to the theme of content a few days ago, called Superfluous Comparisons. You can check it out when you have the time πŸ™‚

Thank you so much Deepika for this beautiful comment. It really made me feel happy.
Very true, this world is running for all useless negative things which is killing our planet. Our world now runs for other C’s like competition, Comparison, conflicts, Clashes, Corruption, Castes, Cash, Color of a person, Costume of a person rather than positive C’s like contentment, Care, Character, Compliments, chocolates and coffee. .

Wow. . Will read your thoughts on the similar theme as this for sure. . I like the title of the post, ‘Superfluous Comparisons’. . Have a good time Deepika. πŸ™‚
