Z is for Zeroes and ones: Day-26

“The array of Zeroes and ones is like the DNA structure of Digital communications and Data Transmission.”

Every data in this information age is converted into bits and then transferred to the destination. It is again decoded into the actual information by different decoding techniques. Bits are nothing but zeroes and ones. How amazing it is that every data you get is converted into zeroes and ones, the presence of information and absence of information. The entire information theory is based on 0’s and 1’s. They are the basic building blocks of data transfer. These array of zeroes and ones if counted in terms of 8’s is called as a byte.  You may be aware of this byte which we use in Kb, Mb, Gb. And also by using digital 8, we can reproduce any other digit.

So I was thinking on what word to write on at 10 pm, then I saw today’s Google’s Doodle. And I saw Zeroes and ones were juggled by a person in that doodle. Then I clicked on it. Shannon. In a moment, I remembered Shannon from ‘Shannon-Fano coding technique’ in my subject, Digital Communications. He is known as the ‘father of Information Technology’. He was also the first person to introduce the term ‘bit’. Bit is a digit which is used for data transmission. Because of him we are able to transmit data from one place to other place that too with minimal noise. On April 30th, 1916 was his birthday. He died in 2001. So 30th April, 2016 marks his 100th birthday, so Google’s doodle was a tribute to the master of information technology and digital communications. He was fond of juggling so the doodle is like this. Thank you. And see 1 0 0 , isn’t it like some data transmission. Haha.

This A to Z challenge has been amazing and challenging. It was not easy to post everyday with a letter restriction. And such challenge brings out the best in us. Thank you everyone who made this possible. And to all the participants, you all have a done great work. I specially thank Darshith who informed me about this and told me to register to this challenge asap. As I was on a trip and returned back home on 30th of March and then first thing I did was that I registered to this challenge. It have been a good one  month of blogging. Time to take a small bit of rest. A small. .

This is my entry for A to Z challenge . It is the last day 26th and it is on the letter ‘Z’. ‘Z’ is for the Zeroes and Ones. Everything in data transfer and digital communication is done in bits of 0’s and 1’s.

Coming to the challenge, as the name itself says it is very challenging. On every day of month April, except Sundays, which makes it to 26 days, each participant should publish a post relating to the letter corresponding to the number of the day thus completing all the 26 alphabets. For example on day 1, the post should be on something related on letter A, on the second day it should be related to B and this goes on. It was an exciting journey.

Y is for YoUniverse: Day-25

X is for X-the unknown quantity: Day-24

Any good Maths has done to me is that it taught me to assume any unknown quantity to me as ‘X’. And then, just work on it to find its value by any possible means and fitting it in known equations.

Maths is my favorite subject (after Science). Though I never believed that the equations, the transforms, the derivatives and obviously the calculus will be useful in real life. But they have taught us the basic principle of life. Even though if something is unknown to us, we have to assume it as a known quantity and work with it. Because there are always some known quantities related  to that unknown quantity. We can find the unknown quantities by just equating these known and unknown quantities. Don’t get bored, Maths is not that boring. It is interesting when you start playing with numbers. Equating here refers to equating your confidence level to the required level to know that unknown quantity. You can find everything you want in your life if the numbers match in the equation of life.

There are different ways of knowing that unknown quantity, sometime you have to increase the work time to find it, sometime you have to increase the confidence level, sometimes you have eliminate the negativity factor and sometimes you have to keep faith in time. Maths is everything and everywhere, no I am not talking about money, I am talking about numbers. There is no unknown quantity in maths, even we have equations on the infinite unlimited numbers, then why not on our limited  life. So assume the unknown quantity as ‘X’ and start working with it in equations of time, work, confidence, power, energy and faith. Keep equating, keep finding. Even we are given this life to find the value of unknown quantity ‘Destiny’,  assume it as ‘X’ and start finding. ‘X’ is also used to mark an unknown spot or a mark where the treasure is hidden. Yes, the treasure is your destiny.

W is for Wisdom: Day-23

We all feel we are wired, and to others we have sold our freedom.
We think everything that is happening around us is just random.
But no, what we think is actually what we get. This is wisdom.

They just wish, we even work.
They just wonder, we even write.
They just watch, we even win.
They just wander, we make our way.
They just wait, we keep walking .

‘They’ here may be referred to the personality once you used to be, but ‘we’ should refer to the personality you will be from this moment. Yes. you are strong. You will win, because you won’t stop. You will keep writing because you are not wrong.

It gets more worse when you feel yourself being weak. So never think you are weak. You can always divert the winds of happiness in your direction. You can always steer the wheels of time according to your will. You can always fly with your wings of passion to the wide horizons of the world. Yes, you are the winner. You can get it if you want it and work for it with true heart. Our thoughts attract things in our life, this is the law of attraction. This is wisdom. Be positive. Be willing to achieve what you want.

What are you waiting for?
When will you start believing it?
Why are you not understanding this?
Where is your courage still hiding?

With will-power and without delay, whatever may the condition, wherever may be your destiny, you have to work towards your goal. Face the challenges and tackle them by being wise. Because knowledge is just knowing about things in the world, whereas wisdom is applying them at the right time. Be wise. Because you are worth it. Time is precious. Don’t waste it. Fear is a wall. Break it. Women are great. Respect them.

V is for Value: Day-22

“Even though the price is same, the value of that thing is not same for everyone. The value of 1 kg of rice may be 40-50 rupees for many, but the value of rice for farmers is way more than that.”

In this money driven world everyone thinks money is everything. But we should know money doesn’t have value. The hard work done behind the scenes for growing, manufacturing, producing, creating, refining, developing different things is the actual value. Now imagine you want a chocolate, you think you can them just because you have money? If yes then you must be ignorant. There is a lot of process involved behind that, that is the real value for the thing for which we can never pay enough. That’s why price is the compromise. You pay, you get. Value is not price which you pay. The real value is known to the people who do the hard work for making the things.

Value everything which you have in life. And more if it is not related to money, like moments, happiness, peace, time, passion etc. They all make you, you. Money may give you different excuses of happiness, but not the source of happiness. Because the source of happiness is in you. You have to value that. ‘I’m are awesome’, keep saying this every morning standing in front of mirror. You have to value yourself. Because value adds character in our life.

Your value is not decided by the people who measure your worth. It depends on you. The way you value and treat people decides your worth. Because you are worthy for many people in the world. You just have yo value it. Others’ opinions doesn’t matter if you value everything correctly by yourself. Be kind. Value people. Follow values. Be virtuous.

U is for Understanding: Day-21

“Understanding others is not an act of compromising, it is an act of trusting and respecting the feelings of others.”

To understand a person is not an easy task. It gets more difficult when that person is the self. Do you understand yourself completely? What you want? What you need? Compare yourself as a galaxy, and others as another galaxy. Now calculate the level of understanding. See, we don’t understand our own self completely, how can we understand others. So never judge others with their current position, you don’t know where they have come from. They face different situations, different responsibilities, different challenges and a different way of thinking. To be in the same frequency, there have to be a common understanding, which don’t judge. It just brings out the best of others.

Life is not easy. We often judge and go away from others just because we feel they don’t understand us. We feel as if we are left alone. But that’s not the case. Who knows, may be they are thinking the same thing. They also want to be understood. When you really need that person in your life, you have to take that step of understanding. To tell them that you are with them, no matter what. They all need is confidence. A person on the back. Understand that it is not easy to tackle all such situations in life alone. We need family and friends to acts our pillars of strength. Be that strength to them. They will for you too. Our circle of people is better and clear when there is a common center(Origin) to all, which is a common understanding.

When someone comes to you with a problem don’t think it is a burden on you. No one comes to you without a reason. Damn! they trust you and have faith on you. It is not that easy to get. Aren’t you great! Smile. You cannot see the same face of the coin when you are on opposite sides. For being able to see the problem from same point of view, you have t be on the same side, a common understanding. Understand their problem. They may not come for a solution, they just come to share it. To have someone who understands them, who can guide them out into the light. Talk with them, bring out a solution. Make them feel special, bring out the best from them. The feeling of happiness we get when our understanding helps others in solving their problems cannot be mentioned in words.

The problem is we never understand. That’s why we never feel happy and satisfied. We often blame and judge others. I don’t know what kind of happiness is this! it just makes us less human. Yes, that’s true that we all need to be understood but for that first we have to be understanding. That’s the real step for happiness. You cannot solve a problem, if you don’t understand it in first hand.

We all want to be understood by others, but may be they think the same. You take a step to understand them. Your good intentions will be easily understood by others. It’s all about feelings of others and understanding them. It’s the ultimate language of love.
