Abundance of happiness

When people think of life as a deal, it becomes more complex situation which we cannot deal with.

Deal is something in which we give away something to receive something else. But on the other hand, Life is always about giving and spreading happiness.

Created using: Textgram app.

Time is a place. There are three different regions in this place and there are even boundaries to them which we have thinned down by our ignorance. Those regions are past, present and future. We all live in the ‘present’ region of time. We cannot change the situations in past region (our past) and cannot predict what is going on in the future region (our future). So how can we make a deal with these places! How can we export our happiness to the past, where there will be no one to utilize it and how can we import expectations from future, who are sending their junk to our region. Cut the deal. We have abundance of happiness here itself. Be in the present. This is what we are supposed to do. To give happiness to others in the same region of present and to expect nothing in return. Life is a medium to refine the soul and make it free from the prisons of cycle of life.

Thanks for reading. Have a beautiful weekend. Spend good time in present region of time.

I don’t know for some reason, the comments which I make on other blogs are not showing up. They are going to the spam folder. Hope it gets resolved soon. Thanks for the support.

Family and Friends are the best people to be in this present region. Because happiness magnifies only in their presence. So make the most of time.

D is for Distance: Day-4

“Distance is not necessarily to be measured always in kilometers and miles, sometimes it is to be measured in priorities and waits.”

Distance is a very extensive, complex and cruel being which can separate any good friends if not given attention to. Look, distance even separates two best neighbouring buddies ‘D’ and ‘E’ by 6 letters ( D istanc E). So rude.. Isn’t it?

Okay. Let’s get serious. Distance is never a one-point concept. It is always measured as the gap or separation between two points, where the separation can be in any form, physical, emotional, mental, personal or social. It depends upon the circumstances. It is not necessary that the distance between the two points is same when taken one point as reference. The distance from point A to point B may not be the same as distance from point B to point A. No, I am not trolling maths. Let us explore the concept of Distance by following two fictional examples.

There were two friends, I mean the best buddies who used to share everything, even small of their happenings. They were in the same school and same class. But as the time moved in circles, their lives took different circles. They got separated by time. And no one of them took a step to re-visit the other. Did they forgot each other? I think no. How can we forget the people with whom our moments got intersected! It is just that now they have different priorities.

‘These buddies are separated by ‘n’ priority levels, where n may be 1,2,3 but it doesn’t matter, the final conclusion is they are separated, they are at distance’

Now let us look at another example where again two friends are best buddies. One is good at studies and other is not. They studied in the same college. When they completed their graduation, they took different paths. The paths never met. One got to a good position and other still seeking for a position. One is with ego and other with inferiority. That’s it. They are separated by the distance again. They never contact each other because one waits for other and vice versa.

‘These buddies are separated by ‘n’ days of waiting for the other to initiate the talk, where n can be 1,2,… 100,200,..,life time. But n value doesn’t matter as the conclusion is that they are separated.’

We often find ourselves distanced from the things which we love and people with whom we feel comfortable (Distance here is not about the physical distance, it can be any other distance). Even though we used to think that we will never get apart then, we sometimes fear to meet them now (I am saying this to myself too). Why? Because with time our way of thinking changes and so do our priorities. We get stuck in the hands of time. We think how they may feel again! Or we think will the things be the same again! We are just confused.

Delete all these doubts. Start a talk with the people with whom you are at distance without any reason. Tell them that you care for them. Tell them you don’t want to lose them. Life is small, so it is better to keep the distance small. We will never meet them once we leave this unpredictable and untimely body. Don’t let ego and inferiority come in middle of a beautiful relation. Give it a start, once again. In search of new relations, we often tend to forget older and important relations. Doesn’t matter whether your circle is small, keep it intact. Keep it in shape. Don’t wait. Take that step forward for your happiness. There is no better feeling than to talk with the ones with whom we shared our happy moments once, again.

And there are also some categories from which we have to stay at a distance. They are negative people, greedy people, show off people, money minded people, cheaters etc. Keeping them at a distance, helps us in getting closer to our happiness.

Hope that this long distance (sorry) which you have travelled from word one to here, is helpful in some way by reducing the distance between you and your loved ones.

This post is my entry for A to Z challenge . It is already day 4 and it is on letter ‘D’. D is for Distance. Hope you liked it.

Coming to the challenge, as the name itself says it is very challenging. On every day of month April, except Sundays, which makes it to 26 days, each participant should publish a post relating to the letter corresponding to the number of the day thus completing all the 26 alphabets. For example on day 1, the post should be on something related on letter A, on the second day it should be related to B and this goes on. Exciting? Isn’t it?

And as always thanks for reading. Have a good time. Keep the distance small with me. I care for you all out there.

A stranger in the mirror- By Jackie & Darshith

A story of two friends who used to meet daily, and still were strangers to each other. One day they finally thought to meet at a special place and then they became one.

There were two friends named Sapna and Kalpana. They were sitting opposite to each other with their eyes locked in each other. Even though they have met many a times before, but today for some reason they felt as strangers to each other. They felt as if they were from different worlds. As the friends are from two different worlds, we bring out this story from two different worlds of Words dipped in Happiness and Smiles here & Smiles there . As Darshith is a professional as Sapna, he will portray the story of Sapna. As my thoughts are still in search for a form, I will portray the story of Kalpana. How these two friends, become strangers and then become one? The two worlds merging into one. Our first and unique Collaboration. What’s so unique about this story? Keep reading.

Kalpana’s perspective:

Kalpana always felt as if she is just an imaginary character. She used to think that she has no life in real. There was always an dividing line between her thoughts and her ability to convert those thoughts into real life, and that dividing line was a form. She always lacked form to do anything. There was no shape for her life dimensionally. She has no existence. She lived among billions of neurons, but still her thoughts were ignored. Her passion was overflowing within, but there was no body to fill it. Just like there is lot of oxygen in this world, still you need to breath it in for respiration, similarly, even though she had a lot of passion about her life, but there was no body, no container to fill that passion. Her life was like an unsolved puzzle. She was just an illusion to her own thoughts. She was struck in between her life (imaginary) and her passion about life. She was in search of a body where her soul can fulfill her passion. She felt as if she was just a soul. She thought that her parents have given her a perfect name ‘Kalpana’ which means ‘Imaginary’ in Hindi. She was just an imagination to her own self. She was the soul, and she was in search of a body, a body to fulfill her passion. Kalpana has the wings to fly, but not a body to feel the flight. She has everything that has the power to be successful and reach the destiny, but she needs the body, the legs to walk towards destiny. She always has great admiration for her friend Sapna. Kalpana feels that Sapna has a body through which her soul can fulfill her passion. But still Kalpana is confused that why Sapna is not following her passion! What’s stopping Sapna! Kalpana just wishes that Sapna’s body becomes Kalpana’s and Kalpana’s passion become Sapna’s. But Sapna has a different set of problems. Let’s check out her life.

Sapna’s perspective:

I am a computer who walks, talks, speaks, shits & exists. I am not living. Living is attached to something that has life in it & passion to survive. Oh, I so love the word passion, even though I haven’t pursued mine. Don’t ask me WHY? Even I ask myself the same and neglect the question. As dear is the word passion to me so are the excuses. Excuses like I am busy with work, I have a life, I am in search of happiness but won’t do much to actually achieve it. My name is Sapna meaning ‘dreams’ in Hindi. I hope that my parents named me Sapna because I was a dream to them & not because they wanted me to follow my dreams. Following dreams requires wings for our passion to fly high with the wind. My passion had died and been buried deep inside my heart since the day I joined IT job. It has been nothing but a robotic schedule to be followed for 5 days a week. It’s a simple equation i.e., Intake of free biscuits + coffee should yield a code. One has to fit in that equation without being an exception. Lack of sleep, excess tensions, deadlines, issues, client calls has made life monotonous, snatched away my passion & made me emotionless and lifeless. I am searching for that silver lining, that ray of hope which will make me passionate again, which will make me alive again, bring back the lost charm. I want to stay true to my name & for that I will be meeting my friend Kalpana, who has her own set of problems. We are finally meeting today at a place she chose & today I want to open up to her & speak my doubts and fears.

Conclusion:

After being fed up with their corresponding lives, finally Sapna and Kalpana made up their mind to meet at a place with a clear mind. And that place was the mirror. Sapna, the girl with a passionless body and Kalpana, the mirror image (Soul-fie) of Sapna with imaginary thoughts of passion without a body, were sitting opposite to each other in front of a mirror. With a clear mind without previous attachments, they felt as strangers to each other. Yes, for the first time they realized the importance of each other. They came to know that they are not made to live two different lives, but just one life. The life which makes them complete. The life which gives a body to the passion. The passion which gives wheels to the life. From that day they became one. Sapna and Kalpana turned into reality. It is whether body found the soul or soul found the body, but at last passion found its Destiny.
